Faster Reactions and Optimistic UI
Reactions appear the moment you tap them — no waiting for server confirmation. Works in DMs too. The chat just feels faster.
Emoji Search and Recents
Open the picker, start typing — your emoji is already there. The recents section tracks what you actually use. Less scrolling, more communicating.
Custom Emoji Packs
💻 Hacker: upload. reference. ship.
Servers can now upload their own emoji packs. Inside jokes, server branding, shorthand that only your community understands — all of it lives in the picker now. To add a pack, go to Server Settings → Emoji.
Markdown Links
Format links as [text](url) and only the text shows in chat — clean, clickable, no URL sprawl. Messages that used to be half link are now just readable.
Better DM Controls
Reactions and message deletion now work in direct messages the same way they do in server channels. Private chats no longer feel like a lighter version of the real thing.
