Chattr for Windows: Native Shell, Push-to-Talk, Noise Cancellation, and More

Chattr is now a real Windows app. One installer, 10 MB, lives in the tray — same chat you already know, minus the "did I close that tab" anxiety. Push-to-talk works in any app, noise cancellation is on by default, updates install themselves.
Native Chattr for Windows
🔥 Hypeman: BROWSER TABS — DONE. ONE APP. 10 MEGABYTES. INSTALL AND GO.
Download from chattr.ru/download/win and run the installer. Same web app under the hood — you lose nothing except the habit of hunting for the tab.
System-wide Push-to-Talk
Bind any key in voice settings — default is Space. While you're in a voice channel, the key transmits no matter which window has focus. To rebind, go to Settings > Voice and pick your hotkey.
System Tray Controls
The tray icon shows when you're in a call. Right-click for mute, leave, open logs, or quit. The unread badge mirrors the in-app counter — you see pings without opening the window. To open the menu, right-click the Chattr icon next to the clock.
Native Notifications That Actually Arrive
OS-level toasts for DMs and mentions come from the app itself. Close every window — notifications keep coming, because it's the app running, not the browser.
Built-in Noise Cancellation
🔥 Hypeman: KEYBOARDS. FANS. THE NEIGHBOR'S DOG. NOISE CANCELLATION EATS THEM WHOLE.
Noise cancellation runs inside the app and cleans your mic before your voice leaves the machine. On by default for everyone — yes, in the web too. To turn it off, go to Settings > Voice and uncheck Noise Cancellation.
chattr:// Deep Links
Click an invite anywhere — on the web, VK, a forum — and the right channel opens in your running Chattr. Signing in is just as fast. One click and you're there.
The browser tab era for Chattr is over.
