Private conversations, a friends layer, live notification pings, and personal unread badges — all in this update. Chattr now knows the difference between general activity and things that are actually meant for you.
Direct Messages
Public discussion is great. Private conversation is sometimes better. Open any user's profile, tap Message, and you're in a private one-to-one conversation without leaving Chattr for another app.
Friend Requests
A friends layer sits alongside server chat — send requests, accept them, keep track of the people you actually want to find again across different servers.
Live Notifications and Pings
Mentions, replies, and personal activity now surface through a dedicated notification flow. You'll know when something needs your attention without watching every channel all day.
Personal Unreads and Server Ping Badges
General activity and things addressed to you are now separate. Server badges highlight direct pings. DM badges track personal conversations. The sidebar tells you exactly where you're needed and nothing more.
